What's the best book you read this year?
It's a tie:
This book touched me in a way that no other book has in quite some time. Joan Didion is an eloquent author with an excellent gift for story telling.
What is your current obsession(s)?

I would say that collectibles are my current obsession. For me that means old toys -- like hotwheels or action figures -- as well as some new urban vinyl stuff. I suppose as I'm getting older I've become less afraid of connecting to the kid in me.
Though these other obsessions are not current, well not in the sense that they recently became obsessions, but they are somewhat interrelated with my current obsession. You see, I also have an obsession for sneakers -- usually customs -- and then there's my obsession for designer jeans. In many ways all of these things have been a part of me -- since, like, forever. In all of these cases, it's about quality, style, color, and overall design.

Lynn-"e" (long e)
Lynnda (there is no da)
Lynn-e-dee (c'mon, that's corny)
The name is Lynne d Johnson and Lynne sounds like the Lynn in Lynn Swann or Shelby Lynn
The d is a middle initial and does not have to be connected to the Lynne, there can be a slight pause. :-)

I'm a Macie. Let's see it was the mid 80s and there was a choice to make between a Commodore 64, programming basic and saving it to tape - or playing with Lisa's GUI. I fell in love with Lisa's GUI.
